Early Marriages and society  It is different to a good word for system of early Marriages. Their efforts upon the welfare of community seem to be wholly evil. India some of the evils are obscured and partially mitigated by the joint family system for the inexperienced of the family but in spite of this the system is a serious hindrance to the development of the nation. Every human being had a right to his childhood, which in some ways is the happiest and most blessed part of his life. But too many Indian children are robbed of their heritage. They must take up the burden of parentage before they are men and women. Very early childhood bearing must always be damage to her health. Many Indian women are old when their European sisters are in their prime of beauty and health. In many cases the boy husband suffering in another way. When the cares of parentage and a family are thrust upon him in extreme youth he has not the time leisure or opportunity for mental development. His education is hamperad. Moreover being always dependents on his family he cannot do easily learn the blessing of independence.

Joint Family A joint family was a Phenomena found only in India of the bygone days. This really meant that the parents with all their children and grandchilfren stayed together under one single roof. This system could prevail for decades for several reasons. First and foremost all the children stayed the same town as no one went out of the town to another distant town in search of job this made it possie for all children to remain in town an that also in the same house. Secondly, and more importantly the sons and daughters in lwas were all treated as one family one all these members were obliged to listen to the dictates of the elders. This made them succumb into staying with the the parents even if they did not like the idea. This system of joint family continued in India till the advent of the British Raj with which came the British culture. Now the culture of single unit families was borrowed by India from their British counterparts. At that time little society single unit families started evolving in India. This happened in the middle of the current century. There is nothing in the world without advantages and disadvantages, it remaine to be true of the joint family system also the system but its flaws and great advantages.

Lesson we learn from History History is one subject in the galaxy of subjects that teaches its readers not only the subject but also lot of wisdom. Most people hold the view that history is just a chronological order. True history is a cheonological list of events. But if was if we are not going the subject it's corrrct status. The evolution of man itself is based on history his progress and most of his scintific and technological developments are all the results of man history. It the history of evolution had not been confince into history books and if we had not read these books how would we know about our past and how would we maintain the tempo of development and pripgress. Man learnt from his mistakes his development and progress. Man learnt from his mistakes his experiences the shortcoming of his ancestors and shortcomings of his ancestors and continued to progress. Is this not a contribution of history?  Does this not make the study of history impotant for us the one single subject that had contributed so immensely to the constant and continuous growth of civilization is the history. It we learn from History, we humans will certainly continue to forge head and become a more and more disciplined and cultured force.

The Aeroplane ✈️ ?  Nowadays marvelous scientific discoveries come upon us so thick and fast that we have almost lost the capacity for wouder. Yet although aeroplane are almost as familiar to us motor car we cannot help stopping and starting wherever in the sun passes over heards. And it is well indeed that we should wouder for how marvelous a thing it is that men have conquered the air and can now fly in the sky like birds and this has been done in our own day for the invention is so recent that if people had been told only twenty five years ago that we should be flying to das they would have laughed the prophecy to scorn. The invention of the Aeroplane will bring about as great a revolution men habits as that of the railway engine and rhensteam ship a hundred years ago. Then the world shrank in siza for whereas in the old days it is now only three weeks away by steamer and railway train. But the size of the world will shrink much more now. When in a few years time we have a regular air service between karachi and london England will be only five days away.

Superstition  Belief which has no basic in reason is superstition. Superstition is the daughter of ignorance and fear. The world literally means standing still at a thing in fear or awe. In religion superstition means irrational fear of the mysterious and reverence for objects which are not proper objects of worship. Ignorant savages have no scientific knowledge of what we call the forces of nature they think the sun and the moon find and wind and water are governed by aupematural beings who sometimes seen kind but more ofter terrible and cruel. These they fear and senseless rites. And their imagination people the universe with imaginary beings demons ghoste and fairies.as knowledge grows superstition dies and to day we laugh at such beliefs and fears as at the fillies of childhood. But you superstition dies slowly and even in civilized countries to day silly bits of superstition still linger. You still find people who think the number thirteen unlucky who will not walk under a ladder who feel troubled if they upset the salt or see the new moon through glass and who do not like starting a journey on a Friday. A tree is judged by its fruits and the fruits of superstition are all evil. It has been responsible for a vast amount of cruelty and madness.

Strikes A strike is the refusal of an organized body of workmen to continue their work except on certain wrong and some peoe denounce strikes as always wrong and foolish and even say they should be forbidden by law and put down byforce. Such people know nothing of and history of strikes nor of the great benefit they have secured for the working classes.  Strikes are a natural result of our modem industrial systems. They came into fashion with the present age ofachinery and large factories. Before workmen had learned thesecret of combination, they were at the merey of their rich and powerful employers who kept wages low and forced them to work long hours. They could do this because each individual workmen, poor and ignorant was no match for a rich and influential emplover. It he did not agree to the employer hard terms he could be dismissed for there were dozens ready to take his place. He must submit and they banded themselves into organized societies called trades unions. Formerly when a single workmen demanded higher wegas he was promptly kicked out but when all the workmen in a factory struck in a body, or refused to work,

Shri LAL Bahadur Shastri. After the death of PT. Jawahar LAL Nehru, sh. LAL Bahadur Shastri was chosen to bece the Prime Minis tee of India. In the begining people thought that he would he was short statutes and hardly had he visited any for eign country. But this brave son of India won hearts of the masses of India and abroad. He discharged his duties with full devotion and confidence. He took hard decisions with ease. Thus this pocket sized Prime Minister scaled the heights of the Himalayas by his performance. In a Kayasth family in Uttar Pradesh Shri LAL Bahadur Shastri was born on octOcto2, 1904 in a poor famy of the teachers. His father had died when he was a small chil and he was brought up by his uncle. After ori Mary eduction in the village he went to high school at Varanasi. He attended the school crossing the river Ganga by boat. But when he had money for the boat he swam across the river and attended the school. He was a brilliant student. He responded on the call of Mahatma Gandhi and joined the youths of the country. As such, he had to leave his studies. But later on he took his Shastri degree from Kashi vidyapith Varanasi. He was a patriot in true sense and worked honestly and sincerely. He later on came in contact with great leaders like Gandhi Nehru Govind ballabh pant and others and impressed them by his sincerity and work.  Shri LAL Bahadur Shastri first because the member of Allahabad local body. Then be became the minister in the cabinet of Shri Govind ballabh pant. Later on he was invited by PT. Nehru to because the Railway minister in the cabinet of central government. He was then made home minister after the death of PT. Nehru he was elected the prime minister of India plRepublic. Shri Shastri guided the country out of food scar city with courage and determination. When Pakistan at tacked India he defeated the enemy and help the moral of the country high. He gave the slogan jai Jawan jai kissan after task and declaration he was shocked and died on Jan 2 1966 Although he is no more yet he he is in our hearts.  

PT. Jawahar LAL Nehru. Jawahar LAL Nehru was the architect of mod em India. To achieve economic Independence, he started five year Plans and got constructed multi purpose projects. He was born great and commanded the great respect from the masses of India. He was born on November 14,1889 at Allahabad. His father Shri Motilal Nehru was a lead ING lawyer of his town. He was brought up like a prince. After his early edueation at home by an En glish tutor he was sent to England for higher studies. He took his degree in Law from England and re turned to India as a barrister. Mahatma Gandhi and other great lead era of India freedom movement were trying to free our motherland from the yoke of foreign rule. PT. Nehru came in contact with Mahatma Gandhi. He also joined this struggle for freedom. He spent this part of life in jail's. He lost his beloved wife Kamal Nehru. He brought up his only daughter indra will great love and affection. On jaJanua26, 1929 under his President's hip of the Congress the independence resolution was passed at Lahore session. He was the author of Quit India Resolution. When India got Independence on August 15, 1937, PT Nehru was made the Prime Minister of free India.  As Prime Minister, PT. Nehru worked very hard. He followed the policy of Non alignment. He asked the youth of the country to work hard to make India a great nation in the world. Even in his advanced age he worked extremely hard which made even the young man blush. He earned great name and fame as the top leader of the world. He was no doubt, the apostle of peace. Nehru truly speaking was a great love of children who loved him dearly and called him cha-cha Nehru. It is due to his great love for chil Dren and children's love for him. His brithday in November 14 is celebrated as children day in the country every year. He was a great writer his auto biography glimpses of world history letters of a father to his Daughter all are some of his books which are acclaimed world wide. On May 27, 1964, he breathed his last.

Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan. Among the great names of front rank freedom fighters Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru Subhash Chandra Bose etc. Jaya Prakash Narayan also has his place. Like Subhash Chandra Bose he had an individuality of his own. He always stood firm by his conditions and no fear or consideration could bend him. He has always been an outspoken person no matter ever if it has brought him a bad mane. He has always advocated good relations between India and Pakistan. He was always opposed to the deten tion of sheikh Abdullah of Kashmir. For this he had to face adverse criticism also but the did not care for it. Born in a village in Bihar province on 11th October 1920 he grew up in village surroundings like any other village lad but he had his higher education in America. On his return to India, he came under the influence of ma hatma Gandhi Jawaharlal Nehru and java prakash Narayan were in those days considered to be the right and left hands of gandhiji has wift prabhaji daughter of a lawyer of Bihar always stood by him through thick and thin. Jaya Prakash Narayan took a very active part in the freedom movement and was jailed several times. He was a staunch gandhi for some time but later on he began to think a bit differently from gandhiji while in America he had developed love for the teachings ofarx so with the help of Acharya Narendra Dev and Achhuto Patwardhan he Founded in 1934 socialist party of India within the congress after all India became free on 15th August, 1947. Under the Prumeministershup of Jawahalal Nahru India had her own government. But jaya Prakash naray did not accept any office in the government. Since he did not have much say against Jawaharlal Nehru, he went into political wilderness for some time. However, he contin used to express his precious opinions on all national is sues. He joined Vinoba Bhave to help him in making his Bhoodan movement a success. He went with vinobaji on foot from village to village, collected a lot of land and had it distributed among the landless people. Service to the poor, the down trodden and outcasts became the aim of his life. In this area, his inspiration of the dacoits of chambal valley to surrender themselver unconditionally to the government gave him a new importance and his mane figured in the headlines of the newspaper. In 1973 he turned his attention to pilitices when he saw that politics was becoming a refuge of the scoundrels. He made the clarion call of total revolution. The youths of Gujarat and Bihar rose up of total revolution. The youths of Gujarat and Bihar rose up at his call and there was change of government in Gujarat.
