       A House A,home 

A House a home  what is a House ?                                       It,s brick and stone. And wood that,s hard.                         Some window glass and perhaps a yard.                             It,s eavas and chimneys and tiles and stucco and          roof and lots of doors. What is a home?                               It,s loveing and family and doing for others.                       It,s brothers and sisters.and father and mother.                 It,s unselfish acts and kindly sharing .                                 And showing,your loved ones you,re always caring.

Avul Pakir Jainulabdeeñ Abdul Kalam born on 15th October 1931 was an aerospace scientist who served as the 11th president of India from 2002 to 2007. He spert neasty 40 years  as a scientist and scienc administrator mainly at the Defenc research and Development  Organization (DRDO) and Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). He was know as the Missile Man of India for his work on the development of ballistic missile and lunch  vehicle technolgy.After leaving Office.Kalam became a visiting professor at IIM  Shillong , IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Indor . Kalam died on 27th ajuly . 2015 in Shillong following a cardiac arrest. 

The new minister and his wife were ayoung pleasant _faced couple stull of enthusiasm for their chosen life work .Avonlea opened ots heart to them from the  start__everyone liked the cheerful young man and the bright, gentle ledy who was his wife. Anne fell promptly in love with Mrs Allan. She had discovered another kindred spirit.                                                                         "Mrs Allan is lovely "she annouced. "She,s taken our class and she,s splendid teacher. She said we could ask her and question we lied and I asked so msny! I,m good at asking questions. Marilla".                                   "I believe you" was Marilla,s reply.                                 

     "I suppose we must have Mr and Mrs Allan to tea soon" said Marilla reflectively." I, ve heard they,ve been verywhere but here. Let me see. Next Wednesday would be a good  time to have theme."                                                "Oh Msrilla will you let me make a cake?" said Anne. "I, d love to do something for Mrs Allan and you know I can make a good cake."

Going to Extremes is a television programmme about extreme lifestyle, where Middleton experiences life in the hostile Condition other cultures must endure. He has authored many books based on his travels. Some of his famous books are Kalashnikous and Zombie Cucambers : Trauels in Mozambique (1994), The Lasco in Outer mongolia (1992) southern Africa (1999), Suruiuing Extremes: Ice, jungle, Sand and Swamp (2003), Travels as a Brussels scout (1997) and Silk Road. 

 Sue and johnsy two young artists shared a small flat. The flat was on the third storey of   an old house.

   Johnsy fell very seriously ill in November. She had pneumonia She would lie in hed bed without moving just gazing out of the window Sue her friend became very worried. She sent for the doctor although he came in johnsy,s condition.  

one day the doctor took sue aside and askde her "Is anything worrying johnsy?"No relied Sue but why do you ask?"                     Thedoctor said "johnsy it seems has made up her mind she not going to well. If she doesn,t want to live medicines will not help."Sue tried her best to make johnsy take an interest in things around her. She taikad about clothes and fashions but johnsy did not respond.johnsy continued to lie still on her bed.Sue brought her drawing -board into johnsy,s room and started painting.To take johnsy mind off her illness, she whistled while working.suddenly Sue heard johnsy whisper somehting. She quickly rushed to the bed and heard johnsy counting backwards. She looking out of the window and was saying "Twelve!" After sometime she whispered eleven then ten then nine eight seven sue anxiously looked out of the window. She saw an old ivy creeper climbing half-way up the brick wall oposite their window. In the strong wind outside the creeper was shedding its leaves.
